ALEXANDRA KIEFERMANN, PERSONAL
Alexandra is not someone who loses her composure easily. Alongside her wide‑ranging professional responsibilities, she is also the mother of a daughter and a son with severe disabilities, which means she faces new challenges on a daily basis.
Perhaps this is why she feels little affinity with the superficial side of the fashion industry. She has no patience for showmanship, self‑promotion, gossip, narrow thinking or intolerance.
She often says that today’s world needs the opposite: openness, depth and genuine humanity.
Alexandra’s aesthetic is shaped by her love for architecture and the Bauhaus movement. This influence is reflected in her restrained and understated color palette, defined by clarity and subtlety. She values quality far more than branding, which is why the “KIEFERMANN” logo is intentionally discreet.
SUSTAINABILITY
As a designer, Alexandra aims to create collections that remain relevant far beyond a single season. The longer a piece retains its style and quality, the more sustainable it becomes.
For her, sustainability is not limited to certified materials, environmentally conscious suppliers or the use of green energy in company buildings. These are essential foundations that can always be refined, but they are not the heart of the matter.
